Hey all, Felix here.
Im pretty new with the full innards of the E1 M28. I just picked up a slam firing rifle for 30$, figured I could turn it into a monster. But, being new to bolt actions, and reading the reviews on this rifle, I have a few questions
1) The Combo
Obviously the best part for this gun for sale is the 90 degree piston, spring guide, and S-trigger combo for sale. Now.. does the S-Trigger come with a sears set or will a new one need to be bought? If so, what is a good option?
2) Backspin
The other two parts that I believe would need upgrading is the hopup and the barrel. I know absolutely nothing on these two parts. Is the barrel cut VSR, normal AEG, or some strange E1? Is the hopup proprietary, or is it VSR? I am friends with the tech Star_Folder who does the hopup in all my rifles, is it possible to get an ER-Hop inside the hopup chamber? (Elongated hopup patch replaces the nub and is cut into barrel, thus giving the BB much longer contact with the rubber, giving it a better and more reliable backspin)
3) Blackout
I was looking at some other parts online, and I was wondering if these parts linked below would be fully compatible, and just how much wear and tear they could take.
> Echo 1 M28 SPEED Bolt, replaces current ball bolt and gives it a holed, speed look. My question isnt with this one if it works, but would the short bolt handle negatively affect the angle of pull on the bolt? (As in pull the cylinder the incorrect way giving it more stress?) www.speedairsoft.com/ProductImages.php?view=thumbnailList&category=12
>Echo1/VSR SPEED trigger, Which would go with the S-Trigger? The stock M28 trigger or the VSR? www.speedairsoft.com/ProductImages.php?view=thumbnailList&category=18
>PDI Black Cylinder, I like the look of the black over the silver, and by the looks of it there is either a CA M24 one: shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-part/parts-upgrade-rifle/cylinders-pistons/pdi-precision-cylinder-for-classic-army-m24-1.html Or the SW M24 one: www.x-fire.org/sw_m24/raven_cyl/e.sw_m24_cyl.html
This has got to be one of the longest posts Ive done. But I think I've come to the right place.. Thank you for reading.
