Ok, I can keep everyone up to speed better now with the new forums.
Last week while testing a piston my cylinder snapped at the rear and the handle came off where the cylinder crimps to the rear end.
I have my new cylinder but left my piston with Tom the machinist. I am waiting for a call back so I can get my piston back as well as test out the new pistons. I am hoping for meeting today/tonight so we can get this going ASAP! lol..
We will be doing a few versions and styles to meet all the needs.
Standard.... Will be a solid aluminum piston, no bells and whistles, aluminum everything except the O ring and pad. The price is yet to be decided and I will try to haggle on his cost to get everyone the best deal for all of us.
Upgraded... Will be aluminum base with stainless steel sear catch with either delrin or teflon guide ring.
There will end up being slotted and non slotted versions available later. To start we are gonna focus on the standard versions, then go to the upgraded version.
